Dear Yashica,

Sun Aug 17, 2008, 8:28 PM
In lieu of my attempts to drag out the Yashica from the depths of dust it has collected in the last few months... I figured I should post a few of my film photographs. There are five new photos:

Birch
Boo
Burnt Orange
Sky Fire
Toe

They aren't very creative names... but I don't suppose they were shots with any intended theme or purpose when they were taken... so they've been stuck to some fairly generic titles.

I'll try to get my camera out in the next few weeks. I may even have to get it repaired again. And I should try to bust out the scanner as well, to get some of my other photos in here too. I'm sure I have a little album of my favorites around somewhere!

Update: Turns out the counter is shot. But it's okay... I've worked around that problem before! Nothing serious!

Half of Forever

Okay... so I posted back in May, saying that I was going to try to keep this active. A lot has happened since May. Including my computer crashing and burning. Thankfully, I managed to save everything!

As I said I would, I've posted a handful of photographs. I think that's about all that I have on my computer, right now.

I'm planning on busting out my Yashica FR-1 again, sometime soon. It may need to be fixed first, though. And I also really need to keep up the effort on drawing studies and skills.

A giant thanks to the recent favs on my newly uploaded photos. I appreciate them a lot.

Forever and a half.

I let this account die. Probably because I didn't have much to put on it, to be honest. Or the time to do so. But now that I'm finished my semester of college (and have a month and a half to do almost nothing before I start working full-time again), I figured that maybe I should make this a little more worth while.

So I uploaded uhm, some of my IB Art pieces, that were in my show. I took down some old photos... posted a few of my favorite scraps and jewelry pieces. I'll probably add some more photos here and there. Otherwise, I may start documenting the scrapbook journey that I've recently taken on, or maybe even some of my art sketch/workbook pages.

Hopefully this summer, I'll find myself a niche. I feel all over the place and unsettled... and I think part of that is just me trying to find where I fit into this art thing.

We'll see how things go.
